Daz's Rock 4 Charity

Bristol Musician Darren Sims (aka Daz) has organised big charity concerts since 2007, the first of which was at Bristol Colston Hall, the Bristol concert has taken place every year since then, there have also been concerts in Hull and on the Grand Pier Weston-super-Mare. The Concerts have benefitted The Nicola Corry Support Foundation, The Rainbow Centre for Children, Cash for Kids, The Bristol Children's Hospital and Teenage Cancer Trust. Since 2007 almost £60,000 has been raised.

In 2011 Daz put on his first Daz's Rock 4 Charity in Hull which was a success, and will be repeated again in 2012 at Hull City Hall and will be supporting Hull Charity CASE www.case4life.org the concert will take place at Hull City Hall on Friday 25th May 2012 tickets are £10 and available from Daz 07976 629132 any of the acts, from CASE 01482 609030 or the box office 01482 300300 (but box office take 5% commission) Appearing this year: SQUEALER, THE COMETS, CHIEFS OF LEON, THE MR MEN, DAZ & FRIENDS, DJ NORTON, and hosting ANDY TRAIN & SOOZ DONKIN. The Bristol Daz's Rock 4 Charity 2012 will, as usual, take place at The Colston Hall in Bristol City Centre, will be a little earlier Friday 24th August 2012 and will coincide with Daz's 40th!!! Top of the bill will be West Country Legends "THE WURZELS" as well as THE COMMUNICATORS, BEYOND CONTROL, DAZ & FRIENDS, TERESA ALEXANDER, RYAN MILLS, STACEY LOU HUNT, and JAKE SIMS, tickets will be on sale soon from Daz 07976 629132 and the Colston Hall box office 0117 9223686. Tickets are the bargain price of £10, downstairs is SOLD OUT already.
