Daz's Rock 4 Charity 2010Joe Dymond-Williams MemorialColston Hall, Bristol Friday 3rd September 2010 7pm
Bristol musician Darren Sims aka "Daz" has organised big charity concerts at the Colston Hall every year since 2007 with great success and critical acclaim, bringing together top local bands who donate their time for free to help others while providing an entertaining evening with a fantastic atmosphere. Daz's Rock 4 Charity 2010 is a memorial concert for Bristol lad Joe Dymond-Williams who tragically lost his life at the age of 17 in 2008. The concert profits will be donated to "Rainbow Centre for Children" as chosen by Joe's parents Gabe and John. Rainbow Centre for Children is a registered charity 1120461 and they help children affected by cancer, with life threatening illness or bereavement. Visit their website www.rainbowcentre.org.uk

The concert is organised and hosted by Daz. Bands that will be giving their time free of charge are: CHUFF, FLASH HARRY, COPPERHEAD, THE WILD GULLOOTS and BEYOND CONTROL, covering many genres of music, there will also be guest appearances from Danny Pugh, Joe Peake, Josh Clayfield, Teresa Alexander and Jezza Screen (The Optical Bully) as well as a dance routine to one of Joe's favourite pieces of music organised by Sarah Medcraft. Sarah's Dancers will also be performing on some of the other songs. Tickets for this will be £3 so even if you can't make the Colston Hall concert you can still come to the party afterwards and dance til the early hours ;-) After-show party tickets will also be available from the merchandise stall on the night of the concert.Programmes will be on sale on the evening packed with details of the bands biographies, websites and pictures, a further insight into the life of Joe, examples of the work that The Rainbow Centre carry out and featuring our very kind sponsors, please make sure you buy a copy as this also helps towards our costs.
